Profox has delivered and installed the LED screen above the entrance to Kunsten, where it displays Maja Malou Lyse’s artwork Bombshell, Boom!. The screen is matched to both the artwork and the museum’s iconic building, with high brightness, sharp image quality, and a frameless white design.
Since Kunsten is itself a work of art, the installation had to be carried out without any permanent intervention in the building. Profox therefore developed a custom, secure solution where the screen rests on the roof without being drilled in place. When the artwork is eventually taken down, the screen will be reused in a new installation.

Above the entrance to Kunsten, visitors are now met by a large, insistent gaze. The screen shows Maja Malou Lyse’s video work Bombshell, Boom! from 2024. The piece takes its starting point in the Page 3 girl and reverses the traditional role: the woman who has historically been looked at now becomes the one who looks. Positioned above the museum’s entrance, the encounter is hard to miss, and in the year Page 3 turns 50, the work also brings questions of gaze, power, and representation into focus.
A handful of the productions where the story had to land exactly right.
