A Preserved Gestapo Cell, Brought to Life

A dim room with a projection on the wall showing portraits of four people, each labeled in red and white, with a doorway in the center splitting the projection.
Black-and-white film is projected onto a cracked, worn wall, showing a group of people with flags in an outdoor scene; a small text projection appears on the left side of the wall.

The Only Cell of Its Kind in Denmark

Profox is proud to have completed a major technical upgrade of Zelle II at Museum Kolding, located at Staldgu{00e5}rden. The upgrade was carried out in collaboration with event partner Milestone Event A/S. This preserved Gestapo cell is the only one of its kind in Denmark, and Profox was glad to contribute technology that enhances the storytelling and gives visitors a deeper understanding of history.

A dimly lit room with off-white walls, a doorway in the center, and the words Zelle II projected on both sides of the doorway.

    A Multilingual, Fully Automated Experience

To strengthen the visitor experience, sound, light and audio effects were carefully integrated into the cell’s rooms, creating an intense atmosphere that transports guests back in time. As part of the upgrade, an information system was also installed, letting the museum display details about other exhibitions and announce which films are showing, in both English and German, for an inclusive experience regardless of where visitors come from. The entire video system is managed via a Q-Sys platform, ensuring reliable, efficient playback of both films and effects.
